Our KYC process allows for several ways to verify your identity.
For most notarial services, our partner notaries need you to verify your identity.
Once you verify your identity you are able to place a signature using the QES Signature standard on our platform.
Even if you do not need to sign a document (for instance, with certified copies) the partner notary needs your identity verified to certify the validity of your copy.
Currently, we offer three options for the KYC process.
Option 1: Video Identification
After you enter your personal details, you are connected with an agent from our partner service IDNOW. They will ask you to show your passport and will guide you through the process until your identity is verified.
Option 2: AI-assisted Identification
After you enter your personal details, launch the app by our partner service NECT. It has audio and video instructions to guide you through the process. You will need to take a picture of yourself and your passport.
Option 3: IDAustria or Handysignatur
If you have it, you can use the eID verification that is offered in Austria. This service is called IDAustria and can be connected with our platform with only a few clicks. While mostly only relevant for Austrian citizens or those living in Austria, we hope to soon include eID verifications from other nations as well.
