I'm having issues with audio or video.

Both for video identification and for the online notary appointment you and the other party will need to see and hear each other. If you encounter problems with this, here are some things you can do to resolve the issue.

You should first address some very basic points before you move on to more elaborate solutions.

Troubleshooting basic issues

  1. Make sure you are using a device that has a camera, a speaker and a microphone.
  2. If the microphone, speaker or camera are separate devices (such as if you use a headset or webcam), make sure they are charged, turned on and properly connected to your main device.
  3. Make sure your speaker and microphone are not muted and if your camera has a cover, remove it from the lens.
  4. Does your browser have permission to use your camera and microphone? If not make sure you enable those permissions on your device.

If the problem still persists, please attempt the following solutions:

  1. Some browsers may not work with our platform. Make sure you are using either Chrome or Safari and update your browser to the newest version.
  2. Some company networks or VPN software may block certain parts of internet traffic that our platform utilises to conduct the meeting. Try using your a private internet connection, mobile data or a hot spot.
